De-Tox™
Endotoxins, or bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS), often contaminate recombinant protein preparations and are highly undesirable, especially when the protein is to be used in immunological assays. The presence of endotoxin can cause false readings in cell-based assays, and there are stringent limits to the amounts of endotoxin allowed in human products. Hence, in many downstream applications of recombinant proteins, better yield and high levels of purity are not the only criteria by which the protein preparation is judged. Low endotoxin levels are a must.
As a part of the De-Tox™ protein purification track, your target recombinant protein goes through a rigorous process of endotoxin minimization, testing, and removal. This endotoxin control system delivers recombinant protein without the hassles of contaminating endotoxin, irrespective of the expression system used.
Try it for your next recombinant protein project, and we promise we will hold onto the endotoxin!
